The biological mother of the self acclaimed dancehall king in Ghana, Charles Nii Armah Mensah a.k.a Shatta Wale has revealed that she didn't give birth to him in the normal 9 months.
According to the mother of the dancehall act, Madam Elsie Evelyn Avemegah her son (Shatta Wale) was in her womb for 13 months 9 days before she finally gave birth to him.
She made this revelation in an interview on Accra based radio station, Hot FM.
She also added that all her 4 children were musically inclined or talented and that it was only the 'kaikai' hit maker who took music seriously and made his profession.
In the course of the interview, Shatta Wale's mother prayed for her son against dooms prophecies.
Madam Elsie further stated that her son is so talented and that most of his choice of words in his songs are based on trends.
'Mama Shatta' also disclosed that Shatta Wale used to be an instrumentalist in church at a tender age and that his talent was discovered when he was young.
