Ghanaian entertainment industry’s jack of all trades, master of all, Cornelius Phantomas, popularly known as Kobi Rana decided to shut down the rantings of critics yesterday when he couldn’t condone it any more.
Kobi is no doubt one of Ghana’s multi talented artists who has paid his dues in the industry. He started off as a young man with his first film ‘Last paper’ whilst still at the University of Ghana before playing the role of a kleptomaniac in the famous Fire for Fire’ movie, ‘2 Bad’, ‘Hit n Run’ , ‘Facebook’ and lately ‘Happily Never After’ and Sala to mention a few.
Asides being an actor, Kobi is a prolific script writer, he writes all his movies, and he is also a producer, director, dancer, choreographer, pageant coach, talent coach and singer (so much in one package right?) no wonder critics came for him.
He addressed critics who questioned why he writes, acts, directs, produces and sings in his movie saying if it’s right for America’s Tyler Perry to do so, it is also write for him to do so in Ghana. He concluded ” I can by God’s Gift”
