the gesture formed part of Airtel’s corporate social responsibility which
hinges on good dietary habits and the welfare of women, among others.

BCI for the intense countrywide awareness creation programs against the
disease.
Commenting on the humanitarian gesture, President of Breast Care
International, and CEO of Peace and Love Hospitals, Dr. Beatrice Wiafe Addai,
said Airtel’s assistance was commendable, especially when the act was at the
instance of the workers themselves, adding that it demonstrates the readiness
and willingness of corporate Ghana to safeguard the health of women.
Dr. Wiafe
commended corporate institutions supporting the campaign and insisted the
disease is no respecter of persons, hence the need to collectively create
